Unfortunately our world does not recognize "superstar scientists" as they do entertainers.

Our country needs a new PROGRAM . . "The Annual Academia Awards" Identifying Americas scientists to Americas Citizens!

Our hats are off to our
Contributing Scientists for their
"superstar science"!

Yucca could solve state’s fiscal problems

Governor Guinn, I ask you why are you fighting Yucca Mountain and then looking for more revenue? Why aren’t we embracing Yucca Mountain and negotiating storage and transportation fees from Congress? Why aren’t Senators Reid and Ensign helping us make this happen? You and our Senators could go down in history as the team who eliminated our fiscal problems for 500 years!

Don’t ask us for donations to stop this project and then raise our various taxes too! Also, why aren’t you , and our Senators, not courting every power-generating company to set up new plants in the middle of the state? Get 10 percent of all the power they produce as a fee. We become fiscally and electrically Independent!

The area around Yucca is already contaminated from 40 years of testing, so storing waste there changes nothing. The rest of the land is just desert and only useful for making money. If Alaska can have no income tax, or sales tax because of oil, then why can’t we be the nation’s electrical-generating state and the perfect place to “recycle” the Nevada Test Site?

Yucca Mountain is going to happen. Don’t be on the wrong side of history!
