“Our freedoms can only
be maintained by the advancement of technologies that serve mankind—
not advancing technology puts Freedom at Risk and
our freedom is
threatened because we
don't take the time to
participate in it” GJD

Unfortunately our world does not recognize "superstar scientists" as they do entertainers.

Our country needs a new PROGRAM . . "The Annual Academia Awards" Identifying Americas scientists to Americas Citizens!

Our hats are off to our
Contributing Scientists for their
"superstar science"!

We invite all candidates interested in providing their position on nuclear energy development
and the Yucca Mountain Repository to send along their position for posting to our website.

We are not endorsing candidates, we are reporting on
their "position" on nuclear energy development

Senator John McCain / G Duarte, US Nuclear Energy

Presidential Candidate Senator John McCain is Pro Nuclear Energy
and Pro Yucca MT Repository Development.

US Nuclear Energy has talked a couple times with Senator McCain and we are happy to notify our visitors that Senator McCain is quite pro nuclear energy development. With experience of having the Arizona Power Palo Verde nuclear plants in his state . . . a good understanding of nuclear energy is a definite plus to our nuclear science interests. In our effort of “Bringing Science To Citizens” it is helpful that you know there are some political leaders who understand the value of nuclear energy development and we need to encourage them as well to continue their interest.

OCT 11,12,13 we attended the CLC in Reno/Sparks, NV

The MEDIA table loads up at different times
Armed with our press pass, US Nuclear Energy is actively seeking "position statements" on nuclear energy development from the the Republican attendees to this conference in Reno/Sparks, Nevada. This invitation is OPEN to all candidates in this and in local election campaigns. We feel strongly that because nuclear energy does not release any CO-2 gases it should be considered as PART of the GREEN energy mix. Many political candidates are avoiding nuclear for political and not science reasons. See CANDIDATES

Mitt Romney in Sparks, NV addressing some of the
conservative Republicans, holds his own on this stop!

Mitt Romney talks again to another town meeting, he indicates it's about 9 or 10 and promises there will be more Nevada visits.

After the town meeting Mr. Romney talks to the
Conservative Leadership attendees

. . . one of his points being, he is one of the few candidates with a wide experience in SMALL and LARGE business management, this is a quality we feel is important as we also come from the old school of OJT (on the job training!  Ask an entrepreneur.

After the town meeting former MA Governor Romney confirmed with Gary Duarte, Director,
US Nuclear Energy Foundation he is pro-nuclear

. . .  in a direct quote to us, "yes I support nuclear energy development". There are more candidates on route to this CLC event and we will have more on them as we "press" the question, What is YOUR position on nuclear energy?

AZ Representative John Shadegg, G. Duarte
A lot can be communicated in a short,
focused conversation.

Representative Shadegg addressed the CLC about bringing the liberal Republicans back into the "conservative" ranks. He is also one of the few representatives who supports both nuclear energy AND the Yucca Mountain nuclear repository in Nevada. The US has spent man years and billions on the Yucca development. Politics have discouraged political commitment to support this facility, science supports it.

Presidential candidate Duncan Hunter,

Presidential candidate Duncan Hunter, Republican Congressman from California also is on the record to support nuclear energy. We are finding that the majority of "conservative republicans" are weighing in on the positive side of nuclear energy.

Former Nevada Congress-woman Barbara Vucanovich

A pro nuclear energy and Yucca Mountain supporter; Former Member of Congress Barbara Vucanovich was elected in November 1982 to serve Nevada's 2nd District in Congress. She was reelected to each succeeding Congress. After serving seven terms in Congress, she retired in 1996. The "experience" available from many people in retirement having served the country is astounding . . . we need to re-tap senior knowledge!

A Sincere effort of Major importance to America-Nuclear Energy!
